Johnsville Schools

Johnsonville Elementary School needed a sound system for their multi-purpose room. The system needed to supply full range sound for use as a gym and a theater. It also needed to be a paging system when it was used every day as a cafeteria.

We installed a distributed system of Bose Model 32 (ceiling speakers-shown to the right). We made the system full range (music capable) with the addition of an MB4 bass module. The MB4 bass module was mounted in a corner for best bass response (see pix lower left).

This system includes a locking steel equipment rack containing four Shure wireless mics, a TOA mixer with remote volume controls, a cassette/CD player/recorder, a Shure DFR (digital processor that controls the sound and is tamper proof!) and a Crown power amplifier. The steel drawer at the bottom of the rack holds the wireless mic transmitters.
