Rental Policy

Rates; If there is one only price is shown it is the weekend rate. Our weekend rate allows you to keep the equipment for 5 DAYS!. Just pick it up before the weekend and return it in 5 days or less. Monthly rentals are 3 times the weekend rate. Walk in day rentals that are for a 24 hour period or less are 30% of the monthly rate.

Requirements; Renter must fill out an application form at our retail location and is subject to credit approval. We recommend you get on our approved list before you actually need to rent. Credit approval usually takes only minutes. Schools, churches and other organizations may be approved over the phone. Some equipment and /or situations may require a deposit.

Terms; Rental must be paid at the start of the rental period. All renewals must be paid in full for the length of the rental. Customers with pre-approved credit may charge rentals and extensions. Accounts are available for schools, churches, organizations and long term customers with proven credit ratings.

Rules;No one can act as a proxy for an unapproved renter without our approval. Nosubletting or out of state transport without our approval. No dangerous or illegal use or any other use that jeopardizes the reputation of EMI or the manufacturers of the equipment rented.

Churches, Schools and Other Organizations;First time customers may be approved over the phone. All rental rules apply but customer may charge rental. Special packages, reservation policies and delivery accommodations are available for churches, schools and other organizations.

Reservations;Reservations are no problem! We have a large stock of rental equipment and rarely run out of any item. All reservations must be pre-payed.

Delivery;Delivery can be arranged on most rentals.

Late fees;A late rental is defined as being one or more days late with no prior notification. The late fee is $5 per day.

Buy Out;Most items in our rental stock can be purchased for a pre-determined price that is substantially less than normal retail prices. A renter with a good payment record (no late payments) may apply up to 60% of the rental to the purchase of the equipment they are renting. This is not a rent-to-own deal. Our business is based on each piece being in our rental inventory for some time before it is ultimately sold. If you are looking for financing-we can help you get an EMI credit card!

Extensions;A renter may extend any rental at any time with a phone call and a credit card. If a rental is extended before the term expires there will be no late charges.

Refunds;A rental may be returned before the due date for a refund of the unused period of time. Exemptions are for package price and/or other special considerations.

Liability;Our liability is limited to the rental value of the item that failed. Customers are liable to insure that they have all the equipment they need and possess the expertise to operate the equipment rented. Any damage caused by rented equipment is the liability of the user or manufacturer of the equipment.
